Promotions and relegations
Brunswick Athens were crowned 1963 Victorian Metropolitan League Division 2 Reserves Champions.
A reorganisation of the Victorian Metropolitan League in 1964 resulted in the banning of regional clubs and removal of the zonal system.
Hercules, Ajax, Tullamarine, Glenroy United and Helvetic competed in the 1964 Victorian Metropolitan League Division 4.
Amalgamations and name changes
Brunswick Athens amalgamated with Collingwood Eagles and competed as Collingwood in the 1964 Victorian Metropolitan League Division 2.
