The Online Museum's aim is simple, to archive and preserve our nation's soccer history before it is lost for good. The National and State football bodies have paid scant regard to the rich history of our game, and it is hoped that in some small way, we can help rectify that situation.
My overall objectives are ;
- To foster interest in and knowledge of the history of Association Football in Australia
- To collect and preserve items of historical interest relevant to Australian Football
- To make the above knowledge and materials accessible to researchers
- To work toward the preservation of objects of architectural, historical and social interest within Australian Football.
I would like to thank the following Australian football history pioneers for their assistance :
John Punshon
Greg Stock
Kevin Christopher (RIP)
Roy Hay
Thomas Esamie
Markian Jaworsky
Chris Dunkerley
Graeme McGinty
Val Sobol
