Williamstown were crowned 1976 Victorian Men's District League West Champions.
Williamstown were promoted to the 1977 Victorian Men's Provisional League Division 1.
Sunbury United and Melton were promoted to the 1977 Victorian Men's Provisional League Division 2.
Yarraville, Wiltona and Kensington United were allocated to the 1977 Victorian Men's District League Division 2.
Ascot United and North Sunshine were allocated to the 1977 Victorian Men's District League Division 3.
