Competition Rules: 2 points for a win and a bye; 1 point for a draw Champions, promotions and relegations Fitzroy were crowned 1967 Victorian Men's Provisional League Division B Champions. Parkville were allocated to the 1968 Victorian Men's District League East. Fitzroy and West Preston were allocated to the 1968 Victorian Men's District League Central. RAAF Laverton, West Sunshine, Carlton, Yarraville, Victoria Star and Sydenham were allocated to the 1968 Victorian Men's District League West. A note regarding the 1967 Victorian Men's Provisional League Division B season A final season table for this League was never published in the 1968 VSF Yearbook. Soccer News published a table at the conclusion of Round 17, with the final round and at least two catch-up matches remaining to complete the season. Those results have been sourced from the 1967 VSF Secretary's Report, though a season review published in Il Globo on September 10 suggests some match results were subsequently overturned. What can be confirmed is that Fitzroy Azzurri finished on 30 points ahead of West Preston Inter on 28 points. |
