Description

A knock out style competition open to all league clubs firstly instituted by the New South Wales State League in 1928.
It was renamed the State League Cup in 1943 under the direction of the New South Wales Soccer Football Association.
It was replaced by the Federation Cup in 1959 when the Federation of New South Wales Soccer Clubs took over the running of the game in Sydney.
