Stand up if you think Kevin Fallon is back in charge of the Kingz? Tonights lame, no...feeble effort against South Melbourne brought back the terrible memories of last season.

If there is one team in the league Kingz fans want to beat these days it is South Melbourne. There is still a lot of bad blood hanging around following last years debacle with Petersen, Kalagarakos and Boutsianis and I'm pretty well pissed off with tonights utter shite performance by the Kingz.
It may not be a Manchester United v Manchester City derby but I certainly put it high on the list of matches I as a fan want my team to win. I don't think the players had the right mental approach to this one tonight. They let themselves down and even worse, they let the hardcore fans down big-time.
Oh, I am being too harsh. Yes the Kingz had three golden opportunities to score and blew the lot. Patricio Almendra was too greedy and deserved to have that penalty saved (not that it was a penalty in the first place).Vlahos ain't gonna score in a month of Sundays - even if he had a open goal he'd fluff it. Your Gran has got more chance of scoring than Andy.
The whole team (well those getting paid) should be docked wages for not fulfilling their contracts.10 minutes of football isn't nearly enough to constitute earning a living in the game. I can't get away with that at my work.
And why make Vlahos captain? The guy does have tremendous talent but its now 12 games without a goal. His head just goes down when the going gets tough and he gives up too easily. He's not vocal enough. Not the sort of captain material I like. Raf might have been a better option. He's hard and vocal.
And Paul Urlovic.....well he can forget about making the trip to France with a display like todays. Absolute rubbish. I'd have Brent Fisher from Northern Spirit ahead of Paul come the Confederations Cup.
I wouldn't have minded losing $105 to the TAB had the Kingz actually made a game of it. South Melbourne won't get an easier run all season. A team of cardboard cut-outs v the Kingz might have been more of an even contest.
Ken, you ain't going to get a crowd at Ericsson if your team serves up shit like this. Plain and simple. Winning ugly is preferable to wasting everyones time with pitiful displays. This one is going to be a hard one to live with but no more PLEASE!!
