Knights v Carlton

Round 22 report by David Arnold
Melbourne Knights v Carlton SC

Very good game from the Knights who have done well since Vanis replaced Biskic. They have managed to get Banini back on track and he completely kicked Moreira out of the game.

Their first goal came when Moreira tried dribbling from inside his half. He lost the ball, Silic picked it up, walked about 5 metres and sent a screaming shot from 30 metres slightly across Deano. Fabulous goal.

Their second came after our left flank was turned and Deano dived over or under the cutback cross low to the ground. Kelic? had the easiest job putting it in.

I've been telling people that Carlton have no chance winning the championship this year and this game proves it. We play Souths 3 more times and those games will probably decide which one of the two teams makes the final.

Our next game is against Adelaide, a game which I will miss for understandable reasons.
